O Human Being!

O human being, verily you are painfully toiling on towards your Lord, and you shall meet Him. Then he who is given his Record in his right hand, he will surely receive an easy reckoning, and he will return to his people in joy. But he who is given his Record behind his back, he will surely cry for perdition, and he shall enter a Blazing Fire. He once lived among his family joyfully; he surely thought he would never revert. But indeed his Lord was ever Watchful of him. (Q. 84:6–15)

O human being! What has deceived you concerning your Lord, the All-Generous, Who created you, then shaped you, then fashioned you in symmetry? In whatever form He willed, He arranged you. No indeed; but they deny the Doom! And yet over you there are watchers, Noble Recorders, who know whatever you do. Surely the pious will be in bliss, and the wicked will be in a fiery furnace, roasting therein on the Day of Doom, and they will not be absent therefrom. And what will teach you what is the Day of Doom? Again what will teach you what is the Day of Doom? A day when no soul can do anything for another soul; on that day the command belongs to God. (Q. 82:6–19)

O humankind, be careful to observe your duty to your Lord! The earthquake of the Hour [of Doom] is a tremendous thing indeed. On the day when you behold it, every nursing mother will forget her nursling and every pregnant one will be delivered of her burden, and you will see humankind as drunken, yet they will not be drunken, but the doom of God will be strong. (Q. 22:1, 2)

O humankind, God’s promise is true, so do not let the life of this world beguile you, and do not let the Beguiler beguile you concerning God. (Q. 35:5)

O humankind, We have created you male and female, and have made you nations and tribes so that you may know one another. Surely the noblest among you in the sight of God is the one who is most truly devout. God is All-Knowing, All-Aware. (Q. 49:13)

Yassine School

Vision of the School:
1.Qualify people to excel in the worship of their Creator, the One and Unique God, through a systematic approach that enables them to ascend the ladder of Dīn consisting of the three stations: Islām, Imān, and Ihsān.
2.Achieve the Islamic umma’s unity and establish the second Islamic Caliphate based on the Prophetic Method as promised by the Messenger of God, Muhammad (God grant him blessings and peace).
Mission of the School:
In pursuit of the above vision, the School’s mission is to revive, reform, and renew both the Dīn & Imān according to the Prophetic Method in all its three aspects: education, organization, and action.

Invocation

Invocation is the core of worship; it comprises invoking God for particular matters and needs, and for the sake of worship. The latter encompasses all acts of worship that bring closer to God, inward and outward. Thus, all acts of worship may come under the scope of invocation. Then, O brother, were invocation to have only the merit of bringing you closer to your Lord—Glorified be He—that would have been far enough. Then what if invocation had countless benefits and blessings? God’s Messenger (God bless him and give him peace) said: “There is nothing that God holds more in esteem than His (servant’s) invocation.”

The Three Ruling Systems

The Hadith on the Advent of the Second Caliphate
God’s Messenger (God bless him and grant him peace) said: “The Prophetic Mission shall last amongst you so long as God wills. Then God shall suspend it if He so wills. Then shall come a Caliphal Government according to the Method of the Prophets. It shall last so long as God wills. Then it shall be suspended. Then shall come the reign of Mordacious Monarchy (that is, hereditary and oppressive monarchy). It shall last amongst you so long as God wills. Then it shall be suspended. Then you shall be governed by dictatorial regimes (the current dictatorships?), which shall last so long as God wills. Then shall come the reign of the Caliphal Government according to the Method of the Prophets.”
Source: The Hadith is reported by Imam Ahmad on the authority of an-Nu’mān ibn Bashīr (God be pleased with him).

Mordacious Rule
By Mordacious Rule [al-Mulk al-‘Ād] is meant that system of government based on hereditary power. The despotic ruler dies and hands over power to his son or relative.
Such rule characterized the Umayyad, the Abbasid, and the subsequent dynasties that had ruled the umma (the then-united Muslim community) against its will until the Ottoman rule. Those rulers were despotic yet generally never expressed antagonistic sentiments against Islam.

Tyrannical Rule
Tyrannical Rule [al-Mulk al-Jabri] represents the system of government of the protégés of colonialism, that is, the secular dictatorial regimes [absolute monarchies or false republics] that now govern throughout the Islamic world. Unlike their ancestors, they wage war against Islam in the name of the foreign enemies, and contribute to further dismembering and weakening the Muslim community through checking any revivalist endeavors undertaken by the independentist forces of Islam.
